In the beginning we learn about four new characters, starting from the 40-year-old Grimson Balt, which is voiced by Cazuhiro Yamaji.
This is the leader of the Balta Fleet and Father Cardezhi. He is known as one of the most powerful pirates at sea, which has both the charisma necessary to hold the team of the thugs and the political grip to confront the Romun empire. He controls the strong energy of mana and can freely use the Norman force "Berserization".
The next is Gunnar, 29 years old, voiced by Shuchei Sakaguchi. This is a strong warrior serving as an officer under the leadership of Grimson. He calmly and clearly leads the second fleet of Balta. He is very methodological and is a strong opponent for Cartja, but at the same time, he monitors her height as a Norman warrior.
Hugill is a chubby raven that has been living on the island of Balta for some time, Balta’s Navy base. He is curious and playful, but the Normans treat him with great care, as they believe that the raven is the vigilant eye of their god Harla. It is voiced by Kobayashi’s braid.
Flere Rale, 47 years old, voices Cayiti Sonobe – a doctor from the village of Lance, whom Adol met during his adventures in the Kingdom of YS.
He is very initiative and is often dangerous to go to where his medical care is required. He is looking for the seeds of a cell flower, which, as they say, are able to heal incurable diseases. In this game, he helps in the Karnak hospital.
We will also learn about the mechanics of Recapture Battle. Different islands were captured by the Grieghors, and while you are swimming around, you can free them. You can approach the captured island on your ship, and the sea battle will begin. In addition to the fight against enemies, it is necessary to destroy the barrels, dissolving the shield around the island. Then you can land to the shore along with Adol and its companions, and a terrestrial battle will begin, the purpose of which is to capture the Griegiers’ base. After that, the island will be released.
Victory in battles for capture increases the level of crew voltage, which facilitates the activation of the skill "Fight for capture". The voltage level accumulated during the sea part of each battle also gives various bonuses at the beginning of the land. Having freed the islands from the Griegiers, you can use them as points of quick movement and receive more detailed information about the area around them on your map.
